The HARIS Foundation — Humanized Artificial Reasoning & Intelligent Security — is a non-profit initiative dedicated to changing how organizations understand, anticipate, and resolve complex security challenges.

We pair artificial reasoning and data intelligence with ethical governance so that decisions in public safety, national resilience, and digital transformation are made earlier, and made better. HARIS does not replace expertise. It amplifies it — surfacing what a room of experienced people would have concluded, faster than the situation moves.

Built in collaboration with the ASIS International – Dhahran Chapter, and aligned to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

Mohammad Saud Alries

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mohammad Saud Alries is a senior security executive with over 13 years of experience advancing corporate security, public safety, and risk governance across some of Saudi Arabia's most strategic and transformative projects — including NEOM, the KSA Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and Saudi Aramco.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from the University of Arizona, providing a strong foundation in behavioral analysis, crisis management, and organizational security governance.

Throughout his career, Mohammad has led the development of next-generation Security Command and Control Centers, authored enterprise-wide security frameworks aligned with HCIS, MOI, ASIS, and ISO standards, and spearheaded integrated safety and security deployments that reinforce resilience and stakeholder trust.

His accomplishments include overseeing security for the Sindalah Island grand opening and serving as Chief of Aramco's 911 Emergency Center, where he strengthened national emergency readiness. At Expo 2020 Dubai he directed the Saudi Pavilion's security operations, ensuring a safe and seamless experience for over five million visitors.

Renowned for his philosophy of “invisible security”, Mohammad integrates innovation, regulatory excellence, and executive leadership to protect people, assets, and reputations — driving sustainable progress in support of Vision 2030.

Abdullah Alshemaly

Co-Founder & Chief Stakeholder Relations

Abdullah Alshemaly is an accomplished business executive with over 25 years of experience across security management, operations, and digital transformation. He currently serves as Chair of ASIS International – Dhahran Chapter, where he leads initiatives that promote professional excellence and collaboration across the regional security community.

His academic foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Florida State University. He also completed the Advanced Business Leadership Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

With a strategic focus on operations optimization, enterprise security, and digital innovation, Abdullah has guided complex organizations toward greater efficiency, resilience, and growth. His leadership philosophy is grounded in integrity, innovation, and empowering people to achieve excellence.

Outside his professional roles, Abdullah is a dedicated mentor and thought leader, contributing to the advancement of security and leadership practices across the region.

Saeed Ba-dugaish

Public Safety & Criminal Justice Director

Saeed is a seasoned security director who plays a critical role in safeguarding people, assets, and operations through advanced technology and world-class practice. With over 16 years of progressive experience, his career spans operations and facilities management through to safety, security, and corporate resilience.

He has held pivotal roles in fraud and background investigations, emergency response, security intelligence, performance management, and facility operations. His ability to connect with stakeholders, lead large teams, and deliver against complex business objectives has consistently moved him into positions of increasing responsibility.

Academically, Saeed holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from KFUPM and a Master's in Criminal Justice from Boston University — blending financial insight with deep expertise in security and justice.

Beyond his professional role, Saeed is a driving force in the security community. As an active member of ASIS International – Dhahran Chapter, he has served as Secretary and in VIP Relations, strengthening the network of security professionals across the Kingdom.
